Mark Karoul PT
Mark has been a licensed physical therapist since 1997. His clinical experience ranges from pediatrics, geriatrics, amputees, wound care, sports orthopedics, pre and post surgical, neurological including spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, strokes and traumatic brain injuries. He was a rehabilitation director for a 142 bed skilled nursing and rehab facility in charge of patient care in regards to their overall rehabilitation needs including physical, occupational therapy and speech therapy. This experience allowed Mark to better care for his geriatric patients that required the full spectrum of rehabilitation services. He uses his strong medical and orthopedic background to provide excellent care and educate his patients.
Mark has worked closely with orthotists/prosthetics, diabetic foot care specialists, The Massachusetts Commission for the Blind, ALS Foundation, MS Society of Boston, and Visiting Rehab Services. He is a member of the APTA, APTA mass section, and a private practice member and aquatic member as well. He is involved in many continue education programs and attends several courses annually.
Mark’s interest in sports and well being extend far beyond the Physical Therapy world. He has owned and operated as the sole instructor of South Shore Kenpo Karate, a martial arts school for all ages located in nearby Stoughton from 1999 to 2010. He has been studying karate for the last 33 years. He has treated many Mixed Martial Artists and takes a special interest in those injuries. Mark’s karate teacher was an acupuncturist and his extensive teachings of the body inspired Mark at a young age to spark an interest in the profession of physical therapy.
Amanda Goodale, MSPT
Amanda received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 2000 after also received her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from BU. She has worked since then in an outpatient setting with her clinical experience including sports orthopedics and injuries, aquatics, lymphedema treatment, and pre- and post-operative care. She is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. A lifelong South Shore resident, in her spare time she enjoys Boston sports, working out and spending time with her children and family.
Oriana Christman PTA
Oriana earned her degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant from Bay State College and was licensed in 2016, along with an associate in Athletic Training from Dean college, bachelors in Exercise Physiology from Umass Lowell, and is a licensed massage therapist since 2013. Oriana joined the NPT team as a physical therapist assistant in 2016. Through previous clinical affiliations, Oriana is well rounded in the back boot camp protocol.
When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dog, doing craft projects, working out and being out doors. Oriana is also new head coach of Rock Steady Boxing.
