Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants

National Physical Therapy is always looking for encouraging, passionate, enthusiastic detail and goal oriented therapists to grow and expand our evidence-based practice. Candidates must be able to communicate or demonstrate, on a daily basis, the ability to:

  • Be an active participant in the patient’s recovery process.
    Be aware of where your patients are throughout the wellness continuum. Focus on knowing and staying ahead of the patient’s plan of care as well as anticipating concerns through each step in the process.
  • Treat patients with respect, listen their needs, demonstrate genuine concern and communicate clear written and oral instructions in the time frame provided.
    Not talk down or patronize patient’s issues. Listen to them respectfully, even if the patient is difficult. Show the patient you care about finding a resolution to their issues. Explain to the patient proper techniques while doing exercises. Get the patient in and out within the time allotted.
  • Develop and maintain strong interpersonal chemistry with patients, referral sources and staff.
    Have the capacity to function as part of a successful team. Respectfully talk to and connect with staff and referral sources. Take instructions, criticism and suggestions from physicians, administrators, employers and coworkers equally as well.
  • Focus on quality and timely adherence to electronic documentation standards, as they are one of the critical factors in the rehab process.
    Focus on completing all computer documentation on time and with minimal to no errors.
  • Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about being a physical therapist.
    We want energetic, encouraging therapists who like what they do and want do it everyday.

Administrative Personnel

We are looking for enthusiastic, self motivated Front Desk personnel who are quick-thinking, solution oriented with the ability to multitask. These team members would be in charge of assisting the therapist, answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, maintaining cleanliness of the facility, scanning documents as well as other administrative duties. Please be aware you may be asked to work or travel between facilities.

Marketing Interns/ Marketing Account Executive

We are looking for marketing interns who are good writers and/or familiar with working with the more popular design software (Photoshop or Microsoft Publisher). The Marketing interns work directly with the Clinical Director and Business Development Coordinator to plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive and innovative marketing plan, public relations events, and promotional programs that are aimed at increasing the awareness of the company. Please be aware you may be asked to work or travel between facilities.

The Interview Process

The interview process may vary depending on the position you are interested in applying for. See below for and example of what you can expect:

Stage 1: Once we receive your initial inquiry, we will contact you and set up a time to have a phone conversation. In this conversation we will answer any initial questions you may have. We will also ask you a few questions to find out about the types of patients you prefer, your clinical and learning interests and which location is most desirable for you.

Stage 2: In this stage, we will meet with you for a formal interview. You will learn about National Physical Therapy’s business and operations philosophy. This is to insure that you have a complete understanding of our expectations from you. We will ask you questions to learn about your wants and needs to ensure we have a clear understanding of your expectations from us. We encourage you to visit with the staff and shadow our team members. This allows you to see the clinic in action and ask more specific questions of any of our team members.
